Lawsuit: CIA Investigated Unvaccinated Employees as Espionage Threats

A lawsuit filed Tuesday, June, 30 in federal court in Virginia alleges that the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) ordered its Counter Espionage Department to investigate all employees and contractors who refused the Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19) vaccine in 2021, treating unvaccinated individuals as threats to the U.S. government.

The CIA declined to cite a legal authority for the investigation order, according to the lawsuit. The agency did not immediately respond to a request for comment on the litigation.
