Massive UFO database The Black Vault WIPED clean hours after Trump orders release of alien documents

  • Nearly four million declassified UFO documents vanished from The Black Vault shortly after President Donald Trump ordered full disclosure of extraterrestrial-related intelligence, raising suspicions of foul play.
  • Trump demanded the release of all UFO/UAP records on Feb. 19, only for The Black Vault to suffer a complete server wipe the next day, erasing crucial files on Roswell, MJ-12 and JFK assassination conspiracies.
  • John Greenewald Jr., the archive’s founder, called the incident “oddly timed server maintenance” but admitted he couldn’t rule out deliberate interference, noting the hosting provider claimed files were “deleted, not corrupted.”
  • The timing fuels speculation that hidden factions suppressed UFO transparency, given The Black Vault’s history of exposing military UAP encounters, MJ-12 and CIA-linked mind control programs.
  • Greenewald recovered the documents from backups but warned researchers to maintain multiple copies, as the incident highlights ongoing resistance to UFO disclosure.

In a stunning turn of events, nearly four million declassified UFO files vanished from The Black Vault (TBV), an online repository of government UFO documents, just hours after President Donald Trump demanded full disclosure of extraterrestrial-related intelligence. The timing has raised suspicions of foul play, though the researcher behind the archive maintains it may have been an accidental server wipe.

According to BrightU.AI‘s Enoch, TBV is an online archive founded by veteran researcher John Greenewald Jr. that houses millions of declassified government documents related to UFOs (unidentified flying objects), now officially termed UAPs (unidentified aerial phenomena) by military and intelligence agencies. This repository has become a critical resource for investigators seeking transparency on decades of suppressed UFO evidence, including military encounters, reverse-engineering programs and extraterrestrial biological entities (EBEs).

On Feb. 19, Trump announced on Truth Social that he had instructed the Department of War and other agencies to release all files related to “alien and extraterrestrial life, unidentified aerial phenomena (UAP) and unidentified flying objects (UFOs).” The move came after former President Barack Obama publicly acknowledged the existence of aliens in a podcast interview, prompting Trump to accuse him of leaking “classified information.”

Just one day later, TBV experienced a complete server wipe, erasing hundreds of gigabytes of declassified Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and military UFO records—including files on Roswell, Majestic-12 (MJ-12) and JFK assassination conspiracies.

Was it sabotage? Researcher can’t rule it out

Greenewald, who has spent 30 years filing over 11,000 Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests, described the incident as “very oddly timed server maintenance” but admitted he couldn’t fully dismiss the possibility of deliberate interference.

“In my honest opinion, I feel it was a very odd-timed server maintenance done by the hosting provider, that went awry,” Greenewald posted on X (formerly Twitter). “They didn’t catch it, and when I did, they didn’t take blame, and there was no way to fully prove what happened, and by whom. Could I be wrong? Yes. Could it have been foul play? I can’t rule it out.”

The hosting provider reportedly told Greenewald that the files were “deleted, not corrupted,” suggesting an intentional removal rather than a technical malfunction.

The timing of the wipe has fueled speculation that powerful factions within the government or intelligence community may have acted to suppress UFO transparency ahead of Trump’s promised disclosure.

The Black Vault has long been a thorn in the side of secrecy, exposing:

  • Majestic-12 (MJ-12): A rumored top-secret UFO research group formed after the 1947 Roswell crash.
  • Military UAP encounters: Declassified pilot testimonies and radar-confirmed sightings.
  • CIA mind control programs: Documents linking UFO research to MK-Ultra-style experiments.

Despite decades of government denials, recent Pentagon reports confirm hundreds of unexplained UAP sightings, with 21 cases exhibiting “anomalous characteristics” that defy conventional explanation.

The Black Vault restored, but Greenwald issues a stark warning

Fortunately, Greenewald had multiple backups of the 3.8 million files, allowing him to restore the archive. However, he warned: “It is a stark reminder to us all, me included. Keep backups. Keep them in multiple places. And never be intimidated by anything that comes our way, no matter what we expect may have happened.”

The incident underscores the ongoing battle between Trump and Obama over UFO transparency:

  • Obama admitted in a podcast that aliens are real but claimed he saw “no evidence” of contact during his presidency.
  • Trump, however, has hinted at deeper knowledge, telling his son Don Jr. that he heard “very interesting things” about Roswell.

Critics allege Trump’s disclosure push is a political distraction, but UFO researchers argue the timing of the Black Vault wipe suggests someone didn’t want these files public.

With TBV back online, the battle for full UFO disclosure rages on. As Trump moves forward with his declassification order, will the Deep State allow the truth to come out? Or will more files mysteriously vanish?
